I am an accountant by day, self taught baker by night. This blog was created as a way for me to document my addictive hobby. I started out in 2008 baking a lot of cupcakes and then after making my first fondant cake in 2009, my addiction to everything baked grew.
In 2010, I began volunteering for an amazing non-profit, Cake4Kids.org, where we bake cakes for disadvantaged youths in the San Francisco Bay Area. Several of my posts feature cakes and desserts made for this organization if not for my biggest supporters - my husband, family, friends, and coworkers - whom I off load my creations on.
